Just received an AMEX MR promotional booklet offering 40% bonus FC miles (or indeed Avios) for points transfers up until end of March.

Bugger. Dumped 80,000 MR into VS points last week.....

T&Cs say between 17 Feb and 31 March, so maybe you'll be OK? They also say you have to be a recipient of the mailing -- don't know if it's targeted or not.

Is this a good offer? I thought in the past BA miles have had 100% bonus offers occasionally?

I think you're right (from memory -- although I have a feeling the last such one was for US cardholders).

Last one was targetted and, from memory, "if you weren't on the list you didn't get in" n( n(

I don't know if there is s strategy to get on more of these lists? I thought the free SPG night was great, but this would also be a good mailing list to get on.

Is this just for personal Amex Card Holders? I have a business Plat Amex and didn't get this email. So would I not get the bonus?

It isn't all personal Amex Card holders, just a targetted subset.

I've certainly no idea why I'm on it! I don't spend much on my Amex. I have, however, transferred MR points to BA and VS from it. I wonder if that had an influence.
