I could not resist.
On an Emirates 380 bound for Dubai and then Brisbane.
In business, in my little pod, eating seared tuna, drinking vintage Veuve Clicquot and on wifi. Bloody marvellous, I love technology.
I could get used to this.
Regards,

Fantastic, lovely plane, so quiet upstairs.
I took a video from the tail camera of us taking off, if it is any good I will post a link to it when I am in OZ.
There is actually a great party going on at the bar too, much fun. My plans for sleep are on hold!! y)
And now the cheese course has arrived, the cheese course - get me!!!!!!

I don't think it is. I seem to remember another V-Flyer doing something similar -oh yes, it was me.
In 2006 I flew on Singapore Airlines between HKG and SIN and we were given ConneXion by Boeing vouchers which gave us 30 minutes free wi-fi and I posted at 38000ft

I was also on an Emirates A380 In business last year, great product. I even managed to "blag" an onboard shower because there was only One person in first class. That was different. I still think Emirates, Qatar, and Etihad have the edge.

How much do they charge for wifi on EK? Surely not complimentary?

Happy in OZ particularly as I have just seen a kangaroo in the garden at the place where I am staying. A real live wild kangaroo.

I paid 20US$ for 100mb, there was a cheaper/less data option (which I cannot remember) so could have gone for that but was unsure how much I would use of the data. I still have the majority left for my return on the 380 when I shall ask the pilot to fly at 39000 feet! y)

It's a great ride on the EK 380, I prefer J on that to the SQ 380 which lacks any humour. The bar on EK's planes and the tail, belly, and nose cams keep us entertained, and the wine lists are excellent.
Also been in the F suites on EK, a bit bling, but still great. The bathrooms can fit 20 for a cocktail party!
Enjoy your flight!
