UKBA - not always bad

I travelled back through LHR-T3 yesterday evening and used a desk rather than IRIS (not working). The lady who served me looked at my passport and said "Did you have a nice birthday yesterday?" in a friendly and cheerful manner!! [It was my birthday the day before]. I was shocked, particularly with all the negative press about UKBA recently!!

It was probably trying to catch you put - if you looked surprised she'd suspect a forgery :). Nah I normally find UKBA fine if they're not too harried :)

It's only T5 that has the issues due to the large numbers of DYKWIA that pass through there on their way to post on flyertalk. The more they slow them down the better it is for all of us. :-)
