So, despite amex putting up their fees this year (unhappy smiley), imagine my surprise when I get home last night and there is there is this little envelope with:

2 x fast track vouchers for heathrow
2 x £10 off with no minimum spend at duty free at heathrow

Am I really special or have others had this recently?

I've had them as well. Just need a reward mileage bonus offer before Sept as I won't be renewing for £450!!

I only have an Amex Gold, but I did get 7,500 points as an "anniversary bonus" which I wasn't expecting.

I received the same yesterday and typically the fast track vouchers are for LHR and my next flight is from LGW, although the duty free vouchers will come in handy although can't be used for tobacco products !

I got these with te BA Amex card.

I got them at the beginning of this week - thanks to Amex plat. I also got an offer for a free night at selected Mandarin Oriental hotels.

I obtained the same last night and generally the speed up coupons are for LHR and my next journey is from LGW, although the job no cost coupons will come in useful.

I thought you could use the Fast Track anyway with the Amex plat and above ?

This is in the advertised benefits, but I think in the T&C it says you have to spend min £15K in the preceeding year to get it.

I got them both too mid week . FWIW I'd have actually preferred the flowers they were supposed to be "better than" than the vouchers .

For those outside that there London area, at least now some use as duty free isn't restricted to purely LHR, which makes a pleasant change.

Thanks for the update. I guess I probably did manage the threshold spend.

I won't be able to use my LHR fast track vouchers before the end of the year so if anyone wants them PM me.

The new gold with marco polo got me through fast track on my last flight so the fast track vouchers were a bit superfluous!
