Connecting at EWR, enough time?

Hello, I'm about to 'press go' on a booking and just wanted to double check the connecting flight with you knowledgable people!

We'd be flying TPA-EWR-LHR with United and then the VS2. Its all booked via VS so a protected connection.

The connecting time at EWR is 2h 12mins to be precise. I understand that United use terminal C but VS is B, and like at JFK we'd have to exit the terminal, ride the monorail and reclear security in B.

I'd be very grateful for any advice on whether this connection sounds sensible?

I think that is just about ok, although there won't be much slack if things go wrong.

Thanks at240.

As I said we're on a single booking, so if it all does go Pete Tong we are protected. It was either this way or a 7 hour lay over!

Yes I saw that -- think you made the right choice as EWR is a bit grim!

If you misconnect then presumably you'll be shunted off to a hotel and put on the 18 the following morning, which is not a bad outcome!

Indeed it would be, if that did happen :-)

Out of interest, does anyone know if UA would be able to print our BP's for the VS flight at Tampa?

its unlikely that UA would print VS boarding passes but you can print your own once you complete OLCI
