Amex Plat Car Insurance Cover

I wonder if anyone can help? I'm currently in Spain with a rental car from Hertz with car insurance cover from my Amex Plat. I've acquired 2 sets of scrapes in 3 days ( nothing unusual in that in these parts) but the first time since I've been using Hertz and using the Amex insurance cover. I've never had cause to use the Amex insurance cover on a car rental before. Do I just sign the damage sheet when I get back to AGP and let Amex sort the rest out with Hertz or what? Neither scrape is paricularly awful ( both happened whilst the car was parked) but are very noticeable.
Thanks
DL

Have you spoke to Amex for advice on what to do?
Take names (full) of who you deal with.
And photos.
Would imagine Amex will sort, but the above two things cost nothing and may come in handy...
Are you def sure they happened in your ownership... Spain renown for bump/scrap charging on hire cars often pre-existing.....
