Tuscon hotels - any recommendations?

Hi,

I need to book a hotel for one night in the Tucson area - can anyone recommend anywhere in particular? Have been looking at the booking.com site and tripadvisor, but if anyone here can come up with any suggestions, I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.

We've stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton which is very near the airport. Have always found it reasonably priced, and incredibly clean.

Hope that helps.

Rob

Don't forget to check out the PIMA air and space museum if you are in any way interested in aviation. Fantastic museum.

The DoubleTree at Reid Park is nice, other than that I've been there a bunch and have a few recs for you:

Loews Ventana Canyon - you'll need a car, and if you stay here ask for a Desert View room, you won't be disappointed.

Hilton El Conquistador - again, ask for desert view room or book one of their Casita's...again, you'll need a car...actually, you'll need a car wherever you are in Tucson.

Hacienda Del Sol - lovely hotel, lovely restaurant...actually, I'd make this my top pick.

Other than that, I've stayed in just about every Hampton Inn in Tucson and all have been great. Hope this helps.

I think the four points in Tucson is gone, being replaced last time I was there, there is still one by the airport but I wouldn't stay out there unless you've got an early flight.

Another vote for the Hilton El Conquistador - great views/pool.

Checking out all your suggestions! It'll be the last night of a trip, so we'll have a car :)

Thanks Luke. We've been to Az before, but not got as far as Tucson before. Really looking forward to it :)
