The somewhat inevitable AMR/US Airways merger
Posted: 06 Feb 2013, 23:35...will likely be announced next week, I'm sure BA are delighted that the OneWorld network will be extending further. Good move to be honest.
Just had a US flight in Business (First) plenty of leg room etc, offered a beverage but only given a packet of crisps in the way of food! It was only a two hour internal leg though.
On a positive note they are more 'full service' than Southwest/AirTran.
Consolidation is the way forward it seems in the airline industry. Perhaps in ten years there will be only five players , one each based in Europe, Middle East, Americas, Far East and Mars! ?|
