Sorry...An old question I know, but options for flying down to MCO from either JFK/EWR - likely JFK.

Another Jet Blue fan, they travel from Boston to Florida too.

Lots of flight times to chose from but they don't offer the usual 11+months in advance. Currently flights only on sale up to October 2013.

I have done this a couple of times from both JFK and EWR and JetBlue worked just fine....

We are doing the late VS flight from LHR to JFK on the 28th March - Over night at JFK then 7am down to Orlando.

We get to Orlando at 10am so a lot earlier than flying direct and a lot cheaper !!!

Had a good flight with united from EWR to MCO in October, just to present a non jet blue option! Lol

Jet Blue - the others are OK but having done Jet Blue from JFK to FLA before I wouldn't choose any other (unless VX entered the route).

Also heartily recommend Sarasota airport if it's convenient for the OP. Direct flight from JFK and a very nice little airport.
