I'm sure I read on the AmEx forum over on FT that it is no longer a benefit.

Yes they have but it was only a published benefit for the first year.

I opened an Amex Plat account in December and it was not listed as a benefit. Then it appeared at some stage in January at which point I enrolled and was accepted but now it seems to have gone again. Glad I got in when I did.
