Hi all, flying from LGW Sth this Sat and I've just signed up as a priority pass member, wondering which lounge to choose.
On their web site it shows I have the choice of No1 Lounge or Servisair Ashdown (is this now called Lingfeild ?| ) your views welcomed good & bad please. y)

Hi, I m flying out from LGW on Wednesday to MCO. I will be using the clubhouse as a Gold member!
But failing that, I would always go for the No. 1 lounge over the other ServisAir lounges. I seem to remember they do a very nice breakfast!

Cheers

Gerry

Hi Gerry,
Unfortunately Im not lucky enough to be gold member, silver yes and hopefully gold some day :) The No1 seems pretty good on the face of it so maybe that the way to go.

Im heading to Cancun, any experience of the lougne there for the return journey ?

Will vouch for the No1 lounge as I have used it a couple of times and it's been great y) Haven't tried the Servisair at Gatwick but the one at LHR wasn't great IMHO.

Another vote for the No 1 lounge at LGW, have used both and the No 1 is nicer. If you are on a Virgin Holiday then I would use the v-room though, it's fab.

The lounge in CUN is just ok, not as nice as the UK lounges however better than sitting in the standard departure lounge, I suppose it depends whether it costs you anything and how early you are going to be for your return flight. We find its often not worth paying for a lounge if you are using a coach transfer as you queue with everyone at check in then security and often by the time you get airside it's almost time to start boarding.

No.1 Lounge is streets ahead of Servisair. Don't they have an aspire lounge yet?

Thanks all for your responses, looks like No1 all the way y)

I did want the V- Room initially but fully booked, I suppose because its half term week but still can't complain as I'm still having a week away to chillax in GBP Coba :)

Cancun lounge is definitely not worth paying for very limited choice of drinks & snacks, poor service unclean tables with dishes not cleared away and staff expect a tip when leaving. As you have Priority Pass it is just a little better than the main departure area.

booked the Cancun lounge last year. ended up get a refund when we returned home. there is a lot more space just sitting around the departure gate. It was a small hot stuffy room. I would not classify it as a lounge more of a walkin wardrobe size!

reminded me of a hospital waiting room!

I am heading back to the GBP Sian Kaan in 5 weeks and cant wait. Best hotel I have ever been too by far!
