I know the Dibb would probably come back with numerous fairy based events, but after something little less sickly and half decent;

Ideas for xmas day dining, staying near DTD.

Never ever had a bad meal at Artists Point at Wilderness Lodge (cedar plank salmon to die for or the buffalo steak is very nice y) ) or for a fantastic steak try the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the beach Club.

Both are available via buses from DTD.

I would go for the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort. If you eat in the evening, you get to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the outside viewing area which is good too! Even if you eat early evening, you are allowed back to the top floor to watch the fireworks.

I recommend the buffet at Gaylord Palms - http://www.marriott.co.uk/hotel-info/mc ... easonal.mi

Also worth seeing ICE.
