Hi,

Just wondering if anyone on here has used the Hyatt at MCO, the one actually on/in the airport? If so, what did you think of it? Can you access the restaurants/food outlets within the airport too, it looks like it?

Yes its ok it is a typical airport hotel quite expensive for what it is but you obviously pay for the location. You can access any public areas in the airport including shops and restaurants. The hotel does a really good buffet breakfast for $15. I will booking hotel again for our next trip before picking up our rental car the next morning.

I have stayed there several times especially for a first night following an inbound flight. No worries about enjoying a couple of glasses of wine on the aircraft and I always feel refreshed when picking up the hire car.
There is a good restaurant and bar in the hotel and the shops and other food outlets in the terminal make it almost like staying in a shopping mall. Highly recommend it.
Ask for an "outside" facing room, many have balconies overlooking the runways, other rooms look down on the atrium of the terminal.

We stayed here a couple of years ago but didn't realise they will pick up your luggage off your flight and bring it to your room for you!

I stayed there last Feb and liked it so much I wanted to do it again this year. However we are making a last minute plan and the date I wanted is fully booked so we will go to the Hyatt Place just up the road. One thing I liked was the amount of space and you need your room key to access the lift so it is quite private. It was great just falling off the plane and into the hotel. Well worth the money in my opinion. If you like tea take English tea bags.
