Hello people,

Just wondered if anyone on here has stayed in this Hotel? If so, thoughts and experiences would be appreciated.

No, we did look at it but the room looked so small we decided to book the Hilton instead.

hi,

yes, i did just last week for the first time.

I booked a valet parking package with them which also gives you "premium security"

check in was extremely quick, firendly and efficient - big tick from me

rooms are small. i had a "vista" i.e. one with a window which looked out over the south terminal satellite, great for plane geeks. i was on my own, so it was perfect. if sharing that type of room i would hope to be very well acquainted with my companion, certainly you would be after your stay. think japanese style hi-tech room (its not quite a capsule hotel!).

everything you need, a tablet by the bed controls lights, aircon and window blind, all quite cool, if a bit of a novelty.

the bathoom is a wet room style, very swanky looking and works fine, but everything gets wet. think very large shower cubicle with a loo and small sink. hair dryer is provided and a big tv on the wall at the end of the bed.

the bed was a large king size, but only accessible from one side - it goes from one side of the room to the other - you get an idea of how big (small) the room is! very comforable with nice linen, i had a good nights sleep.

there is a discount booklet for many of the food outlets in the terminal, 10 or 15% from memory.

the corridors are very dark, too dark really. it gives it a sophisticated atmosphere but a bit more lighting would be an idea.

i didn't hear any sound, from the hotel or from the runway.

location couldn't have been better. the reception desk on floor 2 (i think) is right next to the premium security, so if you have checked in and have no bags, you can roll out of bed, shower and be in the departure loung in minutes.

if an early morning flight, i would do it again. if you are a couple, make sure you are happy with a small room and of you are a family, then REALLY make sure you are happy with a small room (i think they do larger rooms too)

hope that's of some use!

steve.

no problem, pleased to help. that was all a bit rushed - i was typing on my ipad sitting on the floor of skiathos airport dep lounge. so if you have any specific questions, let me know. overall, i liked it and would use it again, but i would always check prices of other on-airport hotels too.

Steve.
