Very good :)

Mind you most airline's safety vids are better that VS's latest snore-fest safety video. VS's poor effort does the complete opposite of gaining your attention IMHO.

Amaizing on viewing for the first time, might seem a little "long winded" second, third, fourth ect!

A safety video that is based on a franchise that ran out of steam an hour before the end of a film released over a decade ago. "Epic". Really?

Certainly not run out of steam down here, imminent new release, huge tourist draw to many of the famous locations. To be fair this isn't really aimed at the motorway traffic across the Atlantic...

Fair points.

I must admit to having been scarred by the let down in the last hour of "The Return of the King" and have the same regard for the Hobbit films as Tim Bisley has for "The Phantom Menace" in "Spaced". Were I ever to visit NZ though I too would be queuing up to have my picture taken at the front door of a Hobbit house.

One thing I cannot get over is how almost every other airline provides a clip fit to the band around the waist to secure the life jacket, yet VS (and I presume BA) still require to "tie in a double bow" ?| ?|

No - THIS is the "most epic safety video" Air NZ have ever made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQDip9V49U0

And I can tell you, every time it was shown onboard, a lot more passengers than usual were watching very closely.

I have to argue that this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtyfiPIHsIg is better!!

I do wonder what an amazing Airline would have resulted if ANZ tied up with VS rather than Delta?

Preiffer wins.
ANZ would not tie up with VS, not enough coverage in the East (or anywhere else for that matter, other than "terminal transfers" from LON to US.)
Their move in with SQ a much more sensible and exciting move..
