On the way home from Bangalore. Quite an experience, all in all, particularly the trip to Mysore yesterday.

PPL is quiet, cool and dark this morning, and I feel a sight more calm than when I arrived.

Part of the reason for my calm state is that I managed to use miles to upgrade the first leg of my flight home to Business. First time I have ever dared try. Straightforward, even if it did mean a good deal of waiting. Here's hoping for the second leg too, for which I have enough miles and maybe, just maybe, enough time to sort in DXB.

As they say, he shoots, he scores. £120 worth of miles short, but hey, it's Christmas and I need to pay myself back for 9 hours in a taxi to Mysore and back yesterday.

It did, and I even managed 20 minutes in the lounge at DXB. TR with photos to come.

Very interesting to compare the approach to service across Emirates Y and J offerings.
