Appreciate "subject to availability" being the age old dampener on this.
But, on the VS website for example virgin Australia only certain routes are listed, does this mean we can only investigate these possibilities.
Can we use on AKL to Oz?

Can't help you with the routes Mike but the VA redemption rates ( where you can find reward availability which I never could) are much higher than VS rates. If however you are looking to burn some FC miles ( and have no other use for them where you now are) then it's a good option.
