Latest version of Departures arrived today and inside is Amex's regular FHR promotion, they tend to do two of these a year covering the following few months. It offers a free night at MO's across the globe for two or three consecutive paid nights, dependent on hotel. I've used this regularly over the years & it brings down the average per night rate nicely

Is there an expiry date for the offer?

We are contemplating getting the Platinum charge card to use FHR for Vegas and Miami. This may swing our decision!

This offer is through until 15th September. There'll be another covering winter released in the autumn.

Mandarin Oriental Miami is a great hotel. Just spent a weekend there, very relaxing. We arrived at around 10am and they allowed us to check in early made the day much easier. (This booking was not through FHR)

The Biscayne Suite was great, even though the WiFi was a little patchy in the living room.

AMEX also do a 3rd night free deal with Fairmont. I think the code is PMXX on the reservation page.
