I know this is a popular hotel with many v-flyers but a little heads up :

Hilton are now charging a $25 per day resort fee at this resort, which gives

free wifi (which you already had)
domestic long distance calls (30 min max per day) (wow !!)
DVD NOW with unlimited movies (mmmm ??)
2 complimentary cups of Starbucks Coffee OR 2 16 oz. bottles of water per day (again, wow !!)
1-800/local calls. (that will get used a lot!!)

so basically $25 a day for 2 coffees or 2 bottles of water and a DVD >-(

NOT GOOD HILTON !!

David

(oh and the $25 charge is hidden in the small print in hotels.com etc)

I've booked there in January for October and no mention of any Resort Fee on mine so must be fairly new.

Seems to have started beginning of July - will be interesting to see if they try and charge you in October

Yes, I too noticed this extra charge recently and was not there when I booked about a month or so ago :-(

Would agree it is hard to call this "value"

Tied in with the change of name to 'Tuscany Suites' by any chance?

I've had no notification of this and my booking makes no mention of a resort fee. They can try to charge me, but it'll then go to AmEx as a disputed charge...
