LGW baggage madness
Posted: 31 May 2016, 07:33on sunday i stood at the baggage belt waiting to pick up my backpack and keeping an eye on the outsize baggage desk where the signage, and history, says my bike box will be delivered
it was quite a surprise when a (packaged) surfboard appeared through the portal to the underworld of baggage and lodged itself across the belt, jamming the following items, the first of which was my bike box, followed by others as it turned out
one of the pax wrestled the surfboard free and (imho foolishly) clambered across to unjam things
i sighed as my bike slid down and rescued it from the belt
putting bike boxes on baggage belt is crazy enough, but a surfboard?
