As reported here.
Some believe the issue is more to do with ongoing lower than expected sales, rather than directly due to the recent Brexit vote.

Various articles on this suggest leisure routes will bear the brunt - citing flights out of Manchester and into New York, Florida & Las Vegas - which in the case of the latter two aren't served by DL from the UK.
So reading between the lines this points to me towards DL downsizing MAN-JFK to a 757 and VS reducing winter frequencies to MCO & LAS.

Getting ready for the A350s "coming soon" to replace the 747s then

Interesting--just checked loads on upcoming VS11 and 12 and while quite full PE and UC--nearly dead empty down back. As this is now a very late flight, wondering if the earlier Delta flights show better numbers for Y? Surely these are not profitable at these loads?
Also--must say am wondering whether there will be downgrades...

I guess VS sometimes struggle to find 900 pax for 2 x 744 and at other times could fill 8 planes each day. With the downsizing will they have capacity in the peak season, at present 5 x 744 is about 2260 pax, 5 x A350 equals equals 2050, 10% less capacity can only lead to fare increases in peak season, in school holidays, unless we start to see 6 or 7 A350's on the MCO run, but I doubt there will be fleet capacity??

It's not the load that matters it's the yield.
As long as PE and UC are well booked the flight essentially makes money and anyone in Y is a bonus.

Really? But that's assuming those are all full fare seats?

I am of the opinion that Brexiters will distance themselves from any "consequences" but even I read this as
"Airline reduces schedule in winter."
