When to cancel Black Credit Card?

My annual renewal is due soon.
I do not wish to continue & wondering best time to cancel.
I do not want to get stuck with another years fee, however I am also due 2x E to PE reward upgrades, so also do not want to lose them!
When should I cancel, so I do not get charged & I get my reward upgrades?
Should I call on the day of my anniversary, or the day before?

I would suggest calling them now and telling them you don't want to renew, but still want to collect your upgrades.

I think that it something I will have to do via email.
So I have proof when they cancel my card & I get no upgrades!

Thanks, but I done it by webchat in the end & got a copy of the transcript email to me.
So any issues by them giving me the wrong information is a training issue :oD

MBNA going to get both barrels at 9am today.

This happened to me a couple of years ago, if you ring them up they will refund the fee straight away.

Yea, they said they was waiting a few days to make sure no transactions was pending.
