The airlines and airports will soon sort something out.

They might even directly employ the staff just like they used to do !

All should be fine, not the first time this has happened at Gatwick. Seems like the airlines don't pay enough to make it worthwhile, airlines likely to go back to in-house, at least in the short term.

Since I am flying out of LGW the same day as you Marshy I too am now worried!
