Aladdin Las Vegas- Earning SPG points as of now

According to the SPG forum on flyertalk, you can now earn SPG points at the Aladdin whilst it is in the process of being converted into a Planet hollywood-Sheraton hotel over the next 18 months -2years.

PS therefore looks like another hotel to get points to convert into VS miles.
