Sofitel T5

Does the Sofitel have deals these days? We have stayed there several times, paying very good prices, but it’s £200+ for when we want to stay there for an early T5 flight in September.

If not, which is the best - acceptable but close - alternative.

Try Lastminute.com secret hotels.

They do have offers, but you have to sometimes book a long way from your date.
We booked at least six months before and got it for £123. Linda

It's no Sofitel, but but you might be pleasantly surprised by the little Ibis Styles or Moxy Hotels near Heathrow.
You can get a bus to T5 (or a taxi) and prices are decent for a good nights sleep. There's also a brand new Novotel, which, like the Ibis is on Bath Road.

Otherwise, as Mallin said, Lastminute.com have Top Secret Hotels

It's not open till October, but there's a new Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn at T4.

There's also a new Premier Inn at T4 which is usually fairly cheap and adequate for a short stay.

I booked the Premier for next Feb at £30.
We stayed at the Gatwick Premier this Feb and were very pleased with it. Very nice restaurant and comfortable room.
