According to Flyertalk to begin with Gate Gourmet will be providing Club and First passengers with an enhanced economy meal with disposable cutlery etc. rather that china and glass.
Hopefully Jetwet things will be back to normal before your flight.

We have friends that live in Winchester which is right next to LAX,if there is no food for the flight they have said they will stop at the buggy whip, grab some steaks etc and run them up to us...we might end up with a better meal than first or club [y]

I just got back from HEL with BA on sunday and unfortunately for us, food was not available.[:(]
Instead, we were all given a "snack bag" consisting of a banana (not yet ripe), pringles, a very small muffin, two biscuits and water as well as some juice in those little round Y/W containers.
Lets just say it was not entirely filling.
Everyone also recieved a letter from Soile Salmi-Villa (Customer Service Manager) saying how terribly sorry everyone is and that no dietary requirement meals will be available either.
The crew were definitely not as apologetic as i thought they would be and just carried on as normal.
Cheers,
Vs045

Im kind of amazed BA hasn't walked away from GG yet, there must be a clause in the contract that would allow them to.
BA's suffering some major pr harm over this and they are losing PAX.

Hi,
I'm booked on BA EDI-LHR-PRG-LHR-EDI this weekend ( Bank holiday).
I'm already expecting no/little food but hope that BA actually fly
on the weekend ( I was going to Cologne on the weekend that this all took off)
Apparently GG have given BA a deadline of 5pm tomorrow evening for an impproved offer.
Regards
TBS

Interesting update on BA catering here
http://www.britishairways.com/travel/newsupdate/public/en_gb ... still not full resumption of service - not sure why they can't offer pre take-off juice but also no raid the larder (or freedom) still!

Why no alcohol??
From the latest Executive Club missive:-
Before you explore this month's exclusive promotions, news and preferred partner offers, I'd like to bring you up to date with the status of our recent catering issues.
Firstly, I would like to reassure you that our flights are departing as normal.
A hot meal service is now available on all longhaul flights to and from Heathrow. There is also a limited bar service with wine, beer and bottled water.
Currently, the only catering available on-board our shorthaul flights is tea and coffee.
For more detailed information on current available catering in each of our cabins, including planned improvements to the service in our FIRST and Club World cabins, please visit ba.com
Yours sincerely,
Sarah Ford
Marketing Manager, Executive Club
