Also, 20 year is no long time for an aircraft, look at the fleet NW is maintaining. Age can be a correlation to accident but a statement like that is just ludicrous.

I also recall that the Helios jet was only 5-6 years old.

I think we have to wait for the accident investigation outcome before we can blame the type 0f aircraft or its age for the crash.
