Amex MR - 2 cards

I've just received an application for the new and improved Amex plat credit card. Comes with the usual 0% APR on ballance transfers etc. etc. (I'm going to transfer ballance from my BMI M/Card as BMI DC miles are a waste of time now IMHO). The Amex credit card earns 1 MR per £1 spent.
I am already enrolled in MR with my existing Amex gold charge card so my question is will I be able to have 1 MR account for both my Gold charge card and this new credit card or will Amex open me a seperate MR account for the credit card [?]
Thanks and Regards

Not speaking from experience, but I would say that both cards will be able to have MR points paid to a single account.
By definition, MR points are paid to the MEMBER. You are a member of of Amex therefore will have a single member's account.
But, if anyone can make a simple transaction complicated, you can rely on Amex to do it. [:(!]

Thanks Nick
One thing I did notice with Amex a few years ago after cancelling my Plat charge card and then a year or so later, applying for the Gold charge card, was Amex did use the same MR account as I had a few MR points left in it.

If you do this online, you can just enrol your credit card into MR, and it'll use the MR account already setup for the charge card - no worries
