Not looking good for BMi.
Lot of discussion on the Cabin crew forum over long haul redundancies and the Washington route being suspended over the winter months, also rumours that BMi are pulling out of manchester long haul

Stuff like this annoys me. The planes will go to LHR and it will get even more crowded and I will have to fly to london to go to a destination i USED to be able to do from Manchester.

Seems to be happening too often, its a shame as BMI had an ace product.

They couldn't do this if they wanted to.

The US/UK "Bermuda II" treaty only allows specified airlines of each nation (BA/VS/UA/AA) to fly to specified US locations (not LAS) from LHR.

so even VS, (who have US/UK LHR rights) cannot fly to LAS from LHR!

Its all terribly complicated [xx(]!

Oh hell thats right, thanks Richard..of course with HP starting the LAS-LGW route in the near future maybe, just maybe VS will bring prices down a touch.
