Rant about 'the dark side' OLCI
Posted: 20 Oct 2005, 14:47I'm due to fly up to Glasgow tomorrow and as usual I wanted to use OLCI 24hrs before i.e. over 2 hrs ago. I logged on and it was not showing up as available, I waited for about half an hour and still nothing so out of bordeom (I have too much time on my hands) I phoned up the BA executive club and asked what was going on.
The kind lady on the other end said it might be 'due to BA blocking OLCI for an hour or two so special requests can be entered into the system' - fair enough, but then don't advertise your check in facilities as being open from 24hrs before departure.
So now at 13:45 I still can't check in [}:)] - its sad but I like to use OLCI as soon as possible to try and get a good seat.[:o)]
