Also Skype IMHO would be cheaper than inflight mobile use. Verizon Wireless in the US of A offers a service for 0.69USD a minute with no monthly or connection fee or 0.10USD a minute and 10USD a month with no connection fee for use of the Verizon Airfone. Not a mobile but your calls get forwarded to the aircraft.
