Well, I just signed up (I don't have anything with Radisson, from memory) and they gave me 1,000 points to start with as an "enrollment bonus" [y]
Not entirely sure what I can do with them yet though... [:I][:?]
(Update)
Hmm. It seems you can transfer points to miles in 10,000 increments. Weird thing is, that VS are not a listed partner on the Goldpoints site! Weird promo to be running in that case, Virgin... [:w][?]

I sign up for these schemes wherever I go (such a loyalty tart!) - but I notice that most of the offers are very limted and rarely for where I want to go. Anyone else have the same experience?

The Radisson SAS in Amsterdam is a personal fave. They are also opening in Birmingham v soon if anyone fancied a Midlands V-Flyer Social.

I would sign up for this, but can't see myself staying 4 times between now and April personally - couple of times a year at a push, but sort of mentioned earlier, they're never in the right places when I go somewhere.

We use the Radisson SAS in Hafjell, Norway for skiing. They are quite often found in places in which there are no other decent hotels.

One of the Moat Houses in Nottingham is just in the process of re-branding as a Park Inn. If this is a trend then I think the loyalty card may become more useful in the UK as time goes on.

Hmm. No such luck with the Bolton Moat House - that's just become a Holiday Inn...

Arrrgh, so wish I had read this first, just booked the HI Marina, unfortunately non refundable. Wanted to stay at the Hilton (desperate to try out the Gold VIP card I got

but to many bad reviews. Never mind, love Nottingham so will book there next time.

One other thing about this. What exactly does it offer above showing my Virgin FF card at the desk during check-in? Got a free upgrade staying at the Amsterdam Radisson SAS anyway (first time), and the 2000 miles for the 2 night stay.
