Easy Jet

Me and the present Mrs Treelo recently flew to (and from) Germany on a New Year visit to the grandchildren on this oft-maligned budget airline and were pleasantly surprised at the standard we encountered. OK, so there were absolutely no frills but, as the Luton-Dortmund flight is only 50-ish minutes, who needs them.

Out and inbound flights landed on time and the cabin crews (all female Dutch, Danish, Spanish and German outbound and all male Irish, German (2) and Norwegian inbound) were both very professional. The crews were very down to earth and, during the inbound pre-flight brief, the FA's comment that the low-level lighting leading to emergency exits also had the ffect of 'making the cabin crew look more attractive' had the whole cabin hooting with laughter:D

Well done Easy Jet - we'll be back[y]

For the prices that you can get a EJ ticket for, how much can you expect. Glad the crew were laid back but professional. I have to say we use EJ to fly "ooop nurth" and its fine - no problems at all, so I would concur with your review.
On such a short flight, did you get enough time to use the flat bed and the bar?

i flew U2 in the summer on the way to Orlando from cork to gatwick and i thought the crew were really good too. They even let me into the cockpit after the flight. We even got into gatwick early too. Overall i was impress by the staff, the cabin and the efficenticy of them overall, and i'm not 1 easily impressed.

My last 3 trips on them have each had 4 hour delays, probably just me being unlucky. One of these was the infamous day when they forgot to file their insurance papers properly...

I give them another chance next week , fingers crossed my luck changes!

I find their on board service quite good [y], and they definately get my biz in preference to that other LCC...
