V-Flyer

Return leg of our trip found us only in PE not UC...

Terminal 2 at LAS is a pretty crappy airport, almost got a ticket dropping Mrs Jimbob and Jimbob Jnr and the bags before dropping off the hire car... Found the Virgin check in easily, but they had only two perople working one handling Economy one Upper Class. Luckily an Economy passenger let us go in front of them.

Check in was handled very well, we had a 35kg bag, but Jimbob Jnr started crying at just the right time so she ignored it!

We went over to terminal 1 for a few hours to use the US Airways lounge, which was nothing to write home about, before coming back. Were allowed on the plane first so settled in to 70A and C. Soon after takeoff, Jimbob Jnrs bassinet was set up, though there was enough turbulence throughout that we kept him on our laps most of the time.

Food was not great, the 'chicken dinner' was ok, but the breakfast egg and cheese croissant was inedible. Flight was unremarkable, I thought the seats were ok, but at 6ft 2 I couldnt get that comfortable, managed to sleep a few hours though. Watched a bit of Rocky on the 'old fashioned' screens.

Cleared immigration quickly at LGW, bags came off quite early, and almost all together.

A decent flight overall.
