V-Flyer

Well firstly I am sorry for the late writing of this reveiw this is because i have just come across your website and its great to join like minded people who love the Virgin experience. I would like to take you back to the sheer anticipation of us managing after 5 years to save our points and use them to fly to LAX and onto Las Vegas to meet friends.

I am sure like most UC virgins that the sheer delight in wanting to experiance this class was too much to wait. It came at a time when the new Virgin tv promotion came on and i must have watched this over and over.

The day finally came we had stayed over night and like all good people we arrived at 0550hrs to the terminal to experience the lounge and what it had to offer(a little mistake)as check in opens at 06.00 and even bigger as because we arrived early the private channel had not opened yet [:(] this was until they heard us and a lovely attendant hammering on the shutter[:D].

We hurried up the the Heathrow lounge to find it opens at 07.00 another wait but when it opened wow wow wow we were kindly shown around the clubhouse and showed what it had to offer, had breakfast and then went for a haircut, the wife had a cut and blow so i went to the bar for an hour [:D]. The flight was tremendous all flight crew were very attentive and showed us UC virgins how the seat worked. My overall expectations i beleive were surpassed.

On the return journey was much of the same except returning from LAX we had a plethra of celebs Steve Coogan,Darius,Dominic Purcell(Prison Break) next to me. All gladly gave me signatures on the newley aquired menu and Darius is really nice to talk to and explained he was off to the West end to perform. Overall now comes my worst nightmare after reguarly travelling on PE my wife has now decreed that its UC every time[:D].

My thanks goes out to all the cabin crew on our flights for such dedication and attentiveness during both our flights.

Unfortunatley Turn Left Syndrome(TLS) is fairly common among many posters on this board and despite many medications to help e.g Tanquery10 + lime and tonic (slash of ice), no sure remedy has been found.
