What! No northern Bragathon?!! Standards must be slipping in the flights out of MAN - or else these nouveau riche are now nouveau poor.

Thanks for the TR but I'm waiting in anticipation for the ugly one. Chop! Chop!

Brilliant TR as always kind sir and a very pleasant trip out of MAN by all accounts. My first ever trip to BGI was from MAN 22yrs ago and strangely enough Typically Tropical was playing on the car radio driving down from Scotland. Funny how things stick in your mind.

Bolt is also the DVD of the month in the iforres1 household, last month was Wall-e[:D]

looking forward to the next one.

Iain

At least 7 laugh out loud moments, feeling upset due to the fact the TR came to an end, can't wait for the next one, all of which equals one thing, another top notch TR [y][^][oo]

And in the words of the great HL, chop chop with the return.

Bliss!

we hit a wee bit of turbulence and the seatbelt light came. It was turned back off about 20 minutes later, but the we hit a small bump, so on it came again. Quarter of an hour later, we were released from our seats but then - oh-oh! - we nearly hit a cloud, or something, so on came the blessed seatbelt sign again. I know, safety first and all that, but I was left with the distinct feeling that the Captain - aided and abetted by the crew - was playing some kind of cunning game in which we passengers were mere pawns.

Rather reminds me of this Gary Larson cartoon

Well done sir! it was was worth the short wait (and the nagging[:w]) for this brilliant TR![y][y]

Just to think, it was turned out quicker than Neil's TR![:w]

I wait in antcipation for the Neilies and also the 'ugly' return TR!

Thanks, a great read. We did however notice the uncanning knack of mini NH at 3.5 being able to undertake the full Seatbelt routine herself, so your time approaches me thinks...

Kids meals are in need of refining as they'd currently make a Rotherham mother reach for the fruit bowl....

Yes GJ, yes you did. And such rare praise from your good self is praise indeed. I'm truly touched.

Paul - ah, the great Larson. I must admit, I usually have that particular cartoon in mind whenever we hit 'turbulence'. Here's another personal fave.

Oh, worry not, Tizer can get in and out of a standard airline seatbelt in a trice. Thankfully - for now anyway - the UC seatbelt is a bit more 'fiddly' for little fingers. But as I mentioned in the TR, she knows the routine by now and has the good sense to stay strapped in until the seatbelt sign goes off (which is more than we can say for some adults...).

Oh, and Tink - your pint of mild is in the post...

A sterling TR! Thanks very much it really was a great read, however with all the talk of 'Coq' I think it made Neil all giddy!

Look forward to the return,

Dominic

Wonderful read, well worth waiting for! You really ought to give it all up and write for a travel company, especially as you have really made me want to take a trip to the Treasure Beach hotel, it sounds lovely.

You had the exact same menu we had when we flew out to SFO. I didnt rate the Coq myself, wishing I'd had the fish option instead. Its really not right to expect to feel dissapointed with the food onboard VS, though it sounds like you made up for it with wine - good for you!

Glad you all had a good flight [y]

Thanks,
Sarah

There really aren't enough superlatives to begin to describe the pleasure of your TRs. They're actually not so much TRs as vignettes from a Travel Writers perambulations - and long may they continue. Thank you.

Bravo sir. Another wonderful read. Please hurry up with the return trip.

Coq makes Neil giddy; Sarah on the other hand, doesn't rate coq. Just goes to show it takes all sorts to make the world go around...

Sarah, Decker - thank you for your kind words. I'd dearly love to perambulate more frequently and offer more vignettes along the way, but life/budget doesn't allow. Hang on: how come that sounds cool when Decker does it, but poncey when I do? Ah well.

DL - return TR being worked on. As an aside, we did Silvermoon for a second time whilst out there, and it was as fantastic as the first. Your recommendations, dear lady, rock.

I feel totally inadequate to add to the superlatives already made about your wonderful TR[oo][oo]

I will however, let you into a little secret; reading your TRs has Mrs buns in such a fit of hysterics that a visit to the loo is often subsequently required[:D][:D]

We both loved the photos and reflect back to the first snaps you ever published to see how much Tizer has grown[:0]

Thanks once again

Loved the photos, especially those at the bar. Tizer is no longer a baby but a cute little girl

'Little' girl? That's what I call her - then she put's me in place and tells me: 'No Daddy; I'm a big girl now!'

buns - glad that you and Mrs B enjoyed the TR and pics - and nice to know that there are still some women out there with normal bladders...
