That red wine and tucking in scenario seems awfully familiar...
Do I have to say it? Oh, I think I do. Excellent TR. Made me smile even when surrounded by excitable spaniards at Gate 1A whilst waiting for the delights of an orange themed aircraft.

About time. I have been waiting for the return TR for months now, I've been in need of some quality holiday Reading and once again your TR has delivered, so thanks.
IASW is thankfully something we can avoid at Disney now, but just walking past sends shivers down my spine. Maybe Mrs V was having a dream she was stuck on said ride and was sleepwalking trying to get off??
Please get something booked and soon, I can only go so long without a TR from you before I start to get grumpy!

Once again Barkeep, a joy to read! Unlike Neil, who has his reasons for diverting the attention from the lack of his TR, I enjoyed it very much indeed and I feel my ramblings to come in February will be a poor cousin to your witterings.

Thank you sir for the latest batch of memoirs. Splendid as ever [y].
When you muttered (in your outbound TR) about not remembering much about the homeward journey I did wonder if you'd met another 'Graig' (I think that was the chaps name on the SYD run)[:D][:D].At least Mrs V was there at the bar to partake as well this time (even if she wandered around merrily afterwards).
IASW still instills fear in this household too [:0][:0]DB and the BF insisted on doing it again when they visited Disneyland in July.Mr DL and I wisely stayed miles away.
Tizer's had a fab time (so by default her parents have too)- time to book the annual jaunt to BGI. You know you want to [:)].

A fabulous read. Thanks for the well penned journey. When I used to live in the UK I recall these Florida trips oh so well. Many a happy flight was spent in cabins with way too many mice paraphernalia.

Now could we have a TR from young Tizer's persective please?
' I was aghast when the CC told me that they had to put mummy and daddy to bed because they had drunk too much grown up juice'

Pure quality - thanks for posting it! Despite the fact that I am no fan of 'the mouse', I'm pleased to hear you had a great holiday with the mouse. I, too, was taken on It's a Small World as a child and some 30 years later the memories are still there - namely 'it's a world of laughter, a world or tears, its a world of hopes, its a world of fear........' Nooo, stop, NOW!
It sounds like the drink policy on your VS76 was quite similar to that on the VS10 a couple of weeks ago. We'd had a couple of fruit juices in the JFK Clubhouse & a glass or two of champagne on boarding, but the crew did a nice 'knock-out G&T' (or 3, all with lime) on the aircraft to send us to our suites. No sleepwalking in our case though.
Loved the comments about the brick-shaped DVD in the Delta Crown Room - I'll check those out in May!
Please get another trip booked soon! Need to read one of your classic TR's again. Given your excellent wit and Tizer's quality views on the Y cabin on the outbound flight, I really would like to read one of your TR's if you ever took a Ryanair flight.

Ah yes, another classic.
I sincerely hope you didn't have to drive over the Pennines on arrival in MAN? [:0]
Now please be a good boy and go and book your BGI flight in the UC sale. You know we want you to [}:)]

Mega TR as ever. Your description of Its a Small World is so true - our kids are still singing it 20 years later!

Just read your TR - seems like we're setting something of a trend, doesn't it...?
DL - well remembered on the Graig front. Funnily enough, whilst carousing with Roister I had to keep telling myself 'remember Graig? Don't do this to yourself again...'
HL - yes, just as well we weren't driving. Which leads to me to apologise for a glaring omission in my TR, due entirely to my booze-addelled mind. Report has now been edited to reflect our disembarkation and the joys of immigration...

Yet again you have started off my day with more than a chuckle.
As Tizer advances in age (something we have all followed here avidly) it is clear that she is a forthright soul who be as entertaining as her parents!
Thanks

Hey, don't make her grow up so fast! She's 4, not 6. You're quite right though; it's a dreadful worry for us. However, we find that after the first couple of gins we've more or less forgotten she's even on the plane.
Of course, I jest. The UC cabin on a LGW 747 has 14 suites in it, and the bar is - at most - three steps from any one of them. A keen eye is kept on her at all times, regardless of our having a tipple or two. Besides, the whisky we slip into in her milk before we put her to bed means she's not going anywhere in a hurry...

One of your best TRs - nice to see you are maintaining - or in this case extending the enjoyment level. Thanks [^]

I find it worrying that even I, as young as I sometimes feel I am, remember video tapes all too well! I don't like the fact that I'm already part of an ageing generation!

Don't worry Lizz, when you not only remember but used Phillips 2000 and Betamax video systems on a daily basis; when you listened to a barely discernible Radio Luxembourg on a Sunday night on a transistor radio; when you drank a vile, frothy liquid masquerading as coffee; when you thought you were the bees knees in your drainpipe trousers and brothel creepers, that's when you're part of an ageing generation [ii] - or so my Dad told me [:w]

Maybe we should expand the TR form to include not only the usual dashboards measures of check-in, food etc, but also to include a form showing number and type of liabations consumed. The dashboard could then show 'the how pissed factor'.

Sir,
How dare you. A V-Flyer may on occasion;
- feel the effects of having had one over the eight and thus be three sheets to the wind
- be tipsy, squiffy or tiddly,
- be slightly the worse for wear,
- have their beer goggles on through over indulgence in the electric soup,
- be in their cups,
- be in an advanced state of refreshment,
- be feeling tired and emotional
- have eaten Hull cheese
but is never, ever, p*ssed.[:w]

Quite so, Paul, quite so. In fact, it was only last weekend that I found myself as tired and emotional as a newt.
I must confess, we were the proud owners of a Betamax VCR. We had the smug satisfaction over VHS owners of knowing we had a superior quality product with smaller cassettes. Which all ended abruptly, of course, when they stopped making them.
Scrooge - you're younger than me (although only just). There is no way you remember Radio Caroline - not first time round anyway.

No not the first time, I wasn't even born when it went off the air the first time around, I started listening in the early 80's
