Although I had fast track sticker, this was (again) not open. Spent over an hour to get airside
The flight was late boarding and ran twenty minutes late all the way to Antigua.
There were two captains and one first officer flying us to ANU
After one hour a meal was served, Roast Chicken, Some Veggy Mush, or Chicken with Pineapple. A sad looking salad, a rather nice Gu pudding. The red wine was drinkable, but cold. As this was a 747-400 , the ife was the nova system, enough said.
The flight was smooth, the crew came around on a regular basis with Juice and water, they were chatty, happy and good at their jobs.
We topped out at 38,000 feet, and the top speed reached was 528 knots, due to the headwinds.
A surprise Sandwich was served before landing, the surprise was it was chicken.
We landed late, but not after BA, sadly the crew let most of the aircraft before premium, hence the queue in immigration was truly awful
