V-Flyer

Another great flight with Virgin.

One criticism though. I left the CH early to do some shopping and then went straight to the gate. They hadn't started boarding so I had to wait around - there was a delay which meant the wait was about 30 minutes. When they did finally start board, PE and passengers travelling with children were boarded first, BEFORE they opened up the 'priority' UC channel. This coursed some disquiet amongst the small UC queue that had formed.

On board, however, things returned quickly to there usual high standard. I was greated by name at the door, and several times during the flight. Althouh a cheeky look at the passenger list pinned up next to the galley revealed I was one of the only FC silver member on-board (no golds).

The food was good, the service excellent. Bizarrely one member of the crew had been on my previous flight a month ago: we chatted at the bar then, and again this time.

Immigration and baggage reclaim in Miami went pretty smoothly, compared to previous experiences. Limo whisked me to hotel, where I finally collapsed on the bed less than an hour after touch-down.
