First try at a trip report - a bit late! Good flight - but as on the outbound VS029 a week earlier service felt perfunctory - as if they were ticking off the boxes as proof of minimum PE service standard: drink on boarding, liqueur after meal, fruit bowl - just about the only differential from the Economy service. No refills on departure - unless you were crew cronys getting their third / fourth glass of champagne in bulkhead centre seats in shorts and bare feet / flip-flops - the last glasses even being brought through from UC.

Love the on-demand V-Port system - but why turn it on so late and off so early? Breakfast better than the ghastly US-start red-eye muffin jobs. I am not convinced the leather seat is more comfortable than the bubble ones on the LGW aircraft. Tinkerbelle was looking well - flew on her when she was brand new and config'd for LGW not LHR operation.

Bitten to death on aircraft - not once in Barbados. Friends told me exactly the same thing happened to them on their return flight. VH uninterested when told. Why spray cabin when arriving in BGI - but not on departure when it stands open on the tarmac for 3 hours? Going VS035 in a couple of weeks - may be a mistake to go Fridays as looks to be Type 1/2 and still can't view seat maps OB.
