Security appeared to be pretty quiet so we made our way to the Hyatt for our last lunch before going home, the food in this place is fantastic, not huge portions but the quality is great. Following our meal we headed down to security, we had about 1 hour before we were boarding, but the lines were huge, we were told about a 45 minute wait. We started to worry a little that we may not make our flight. As we were in line the check in agent who checked us in came past and asked why we had not gone throught yet, we explained and he told us to come with him, he guided us to the staff security and informed TSA that we were his Upper Class passengers, Nice touch i thought. We were through within 10 minutes, much to the disgust of our fellow travellers. We arrived in the Delta lounge and it was very busy, you couldnt even get a seat, we ahd a quick drink, then the same check in agent came to collect us and escort us on to the plane. We boarded Hot Lips and was greeted by the friendliest crew I have ever come across, they were excellent from the FSM who greeted everyone by name and really seemed interested in her job to our CC who was fantastic. The crew and the FSM were visible throughout the flight and nothing was too much trouble, they made you feel like premium passengers. Drinks were served following departure and meal orders were taken. I had the Pork which was ok but a little dry, my wife had the veggie option which she enjoyed. were were offered cheese and biscuits at the bar whilst they made up our beds, washed down with a nice glass of port. Had about 4 hours sleep then was awoken for breakfast. We landed on time and was off the plane first, bags were there with the crews. It was a far different flight from our outbound, that was simply down to an attentive and freindly crew, it really does make all the difference.
