Jersey Girl BGI to Gatwick. Late check out (we used the check in and chill out VH service for 10 bucks each as we booked the flights direct with VA and only the hotel with VH - it's a long story...) from the hotel meant little time wasted at BGI and checked straight through with no queues. Very quick enplaning as UC go 1DR and PE / E got 2DR and we go straight on and up to the bubble.

3 glasses of sparkling this time round - no hassle asking for refills. Friendlier crew. Meal was OK - the sponge cake dessert was bone dry and the cheese like latex. This time the rolls were warmed not cremated which was better though. Nova armrest controls very difficult but picture stronger than on Odyssey. No drinks round pre-service. One glass of wine no tea or coffee top ups - and usual Brandy & Bailey's round. Fruit bowl did not appear until breakfast!

Cardboard cups after the red-eye with hot bacon or egg and cheese rolls are not good enough. The rolls were good if mine was slightly overcooked (probably depends on position in ovens) but I think PE should provide china at breakfast.

Seats felt very uncomfortable to sleep. Legrest useless and recline inadequate. I'm not very tall but IFE box under 76H was taking up half my legroom - and so loose knocking it turned off Nova.

Deplaned quickly and cases through quickly at LGW.

Thank you for the TR, sounded like it was a better experience than your outbound flight.

There is no separate bar service on night flights across the pond as it is felt passengers prefer a combined bar and meal service allowing more time to sleep.
