V-Flyer

After an excellent couple of hours in the LGW Clubhouse we {myself & 2 sons} made our way to the gate. Priority boarding was poor and just consisted of a sign telling UC & AU passengers to go straight to the front of the queue, this we did and although no one said anything we got a few dirty looks from folks who understandably thought we were queue jumping. Anyway soon on board Hotlips & enjoying a glass of bubbly. What followed was one of the most enjoyable UC Virgin flights I have ever taken. The 14 seat UC cabin full of holiday makers felt like a private members club. The two crew
members that looked after us through out the flight were terrific and made a massive contribution to our enjoyment of the flight. As an AU card holder I was greeted by name on more than one occasion & welcombed back on board when ordering post take off G & T. Enjoyed a chat with a couple of passangers at the tiny bar & even my meal of soup, lamb & cheese was very acceptable. Once landed at BGI we were quickly off the plane, through customs & in the car provided for Virgin Holidays UC passangers and on our way to hotel within 20 minutes of touching down

Delighted to have identified a beach bar that is showing tomorrows England v Germany match so all good.

I will be writing to VA to compliment staff that served us on this flight.

Thanks for the TR - good to see that you had an impressive Crew

I know that the Gatwick Clubhouse has had some mixed reviews in the past, but they seemed to now have picked up thier game

Glad to hear you had a good flight. One question though: are you on holiday in BGI or ANU as the topic title says ANU and the TR says BGI.

On holiday in BGI, on the drop down menu VS035 is LGW - ANU which is the flights final destination.

Game obviously wasnt great for an England supporter.
Atmosphere however was fantastic in a beach bar full of English folks who all sang along with the National Anthem before the game.
