So this report may be a little baised because of that, but I'll do my best to be objective.
I got to the airport about 5 hours prior to departure to make the most of the Clubhouse. I was originally booked in economy and asked about upgrades at the Upper Class check-in desk. The price to upgrade my M ticket to Premium Economy was £55 + £55 taxes and 10,000 miles. I thought that was alright and after a little playing around I was checked into seat 18D and off to the Clubhouse. Luckily there was no-one else queuing to check-in so I didn't hold anyone up.
I booked a facial upon arrival and ordered the Duck pancakes for lunch. The service was fantastic, very attentive and always smiling. The Duck was so nice that I ordered it again when my colleague arrived

Boarding was eventually called and upon handing over my ticket I heard a beep and my ticket was scribbled on and returned to me with 15A and a "Your seat has been changed sir and you are now in Upper Class".

On board, I offered to move seats to allow a family to sit together, which I think was only fair considering I was on a freebie and I settled into 16K.
The flight was uneventful. The seat was in good condition and everything worked. I opted for the Virgin mary soup (with the Vodka) for starters and the Lavender and garlic lamb for the main. Both of which were very nice. I had the Sauvignon wine option which was also very drinkable.
The only downside of the whole flight is that I am writing this from my hotel, and my luggage is somewhere else

Overall, despite the misplaced luggage, it was a very good flight/experience.
