After a lovely quick break in Barbados, it was time to get back to cold England.

Ground Staff:
Communication in Barbados was pretty good. We used the check in and chill out service and were informed of the 5 hour delay due to the delays caused by the earlier closure of LGW in the week.

Boarding was the usually chaos that only BGI ground staff can organise. If they only had a better tannoy system so you can understand a word they are saying about when you're supposed to board.

Seat:
As before - dirty and grubby.

Entertainment:
Couldn't be arsed to even get a headphone as the dreaded loop entertainment system was on offer yet again.

Food & Drink:
A meal with a drink was offered about 60 minutes into the flight with a breakfast type roll a couple of hours before landing in Gatwick. I distinctly recall them coming round for water/juices on previous journeys at least once - but that seems that have stopped too.

Cabin Crew:
Rush.. rush.. rush.. so that they can hide in their galleys to do whatever they are up to there, not to be seen again. Now I understand that on an overnight flight they don't want to disrupt passengers that are trying to sleep - but why o why the closing of those curtains????

Another trip to BGI planned next year. For the same kind of money I can most probaby fly Thomson Premium - will seriously consider this!

Once again - must do better Virgin.

Mark
