And so it was time to return unfortunately. We arrived at MCO at 16:00 and checked in straight away with no que, having checked in online and chosen the first set of three seats are row 61. I was hoping for G-VKSS but due to tech problems that hadn't flown the previous day.
These seats were so much better, legroom was closer to 35" and were full width, and also i had extra space because of the missing fourth seat, recline though was more difficult because of seats behind.
Once again take off on time flight time of around 7 hours 55,
Due to the 19:00 departure time there was no bar service and they went straight to dinner, which was salmon (not my favourite), but not all choices were available, luckily one of our party managed to get a premium meal which was very nice.
IFE switched on a little earlier this time, again everything worked with no lag, apart from a slight headphone issue, someone had pressed the adapter in so my headphone adapter wouldn't fit so had to listen with one ear.

I didn't sleep for the entire flight due to being very uncomfortable but that was more my back problem than the seat which was very comfy. The flight passed very quickly with me watching several tv programmes and films. Again the mood lighting is either on/off and they also didn't dim the no smoking lights as normal which was annoying.
Atitude up the east coast was 35000ft then the cruise over the atlantic was 39000ft, we started our very bumpy decent 35 minutes before landing on 23R at MAN.
Unfortunately T2 was very busy and we had to park remotely and get coaches which took an extra 20 minutes.
Overall i am very impressed with Virgin Atlantic and would reccommend them to anyone.
