Leaving Bristol area at 09.30 meant a smooth & quick journey up the M4. Our driver dropped us of at the Upper Class check & we were greeted, checked in & through passport control in approx 5 mins. After a quick stop off at duty free we were sipping our first glass of champagne at the bar in the clubhouse. Unfortunately neither myself or my partner could secure a treatment appointment which was a shame. A few more glasses of bubbly were consumed and we enjoyed a nice meal.
We left the Clubhouse on the second call & were soon taking our seates in UC. Champagne was quickly offered & accepted & we were soon in the air. Soon after take off we took at seat at the bar & ended up eating there. Food was only ok but bubbly was well chilled so we were both happy. After returning to our seats both enjoyed a couple of hours sleep before touchdown in JFK. Crew were all attentive & good.
One of my best ever Virgin flights made the perfect start to what was to be my best ever trip to New York.
Good work VA
