Got to gatwick at about 4pm and as i had booked us into the short term car park for 14 days managed to get on the 2nd level which is ideal straight onto the level for check in got a really good price of £120 for the fortnight so can highly recommend them, no buses to wait for or luggging suitcases off and on them, there were plenty of trolleys nearby as well.

went to the check in desk which was empty and i asked which plane we were on Hot lips haven't been on that one before, hubby thought i was being geeky.
Went straight through to the Hilton not much of a queue unfortunately got low rooms, to be avoided when the bin lorry woke us up at 5 right outside the window, had a nice meal in the restaurant all included in the price excellent for £15 each for a three course meal.

As we then awake we decided to go through to the V-room for breakfast, the quick lane security was busy but moved quickly .
We were one of the first people in so it was very quiet, filled up a bit but never very busy clean and efficient as usual. Gate was called on time so as its a bit of a walk through we left, was surprised we didn't use the extra security gate and it was on one of the original gates with no security and the duty free shop nearby, much better.
Everything was on time if not before so boarding was completed
efficiently and quickly, seats looked ok were all clean and presentable, IFE worked very well all the way have never watched so many films before nearly everyone. The food unfortunately was not very good chose the chicken with herb sauce(a dollop of something on top), hard roll and sickly pud
had half of hubbys pasta to keep going, he ate my chicken, mind you he eats anything.
Very smooth flight no disturbances plenty of drinks, efficient crew what more could you ask, the landing was so smooth the best we have ever had very light touch down, excellent
