V-Flyer

We flew Virgin premium economy, LGW-LAS and no queue...well not for PE, a huge queue for economy, so a win-win situation, then we got fast tracked through security, so another win.

Flight was rated excellent for crew and food (surprisingly edible!), but as we got the old unupdated Gatwick based plane, although the seats were fairly comfortable, the entertainment system was dire to say the least.

Who can honestly say they can reach those damn controls unless they get out of their seat? You cannot even see the buttons...just "feel" for them and then half the time they did not work.

Plus my seat would not recline...until the lovely cc lady knelt on the seat and pushed as hard as she could to get it to move!

Thank heavens I had my iPod and iPad!

Either sort the cabin, SRB, or get those upgrades very soon!

The old style 777's are barely one step above Easyjet...it's just the crew that saves the day!

Won't be flying VA again until after the upgrades are done.
