long time lurker posting my first TR so please be gentle...

Had been saving up miles so thought I would treat myself to come Stateside to see the Beach Boys (fantastic show!!!). I'd been lucky enough to fly PE the past few times, but was curious to see what UC was like.

I stayed over near LHR so I could get to the CH early and make the most of it. Wow doesn't get across my appreciation of the whole experience.

Check in was quick, and after heading up in the lift I was through security within a couple of minutes. Already feeling spoiled I headed to the CH. Having read a number of reports I booked a hair cut and then settled down for brekky and chilled out for a bit.

Hair cut was fab, and I appreciated the glass of fizz! :D The chap mentioned that there was a jacuzzi and sauna which amazed me - one for next time perhaps? Anyway I settled down and enjoyed the regular refills (ahem!). Wobbled a little down to the gate (!) and loved being able to wander straight on board. Another glass of fizz and I settled in for the flight.

The FSM was happily chatting with a number of passengers, and the crew were all really friendly.

Had the tomato and basil soup, and a very tangy stir fried chicken. Didn't get offered dessert (?) but tucked into the cheese which was nice. Had the graze burger rather than the sandwiches for tea. All very yummy.

Landed on time, and endured these horrible mobile lounges. Managed to get through immigration in a record time (for me at least), from mobile lounge to car rental bus in an hour.

Felt utterly spoilt rotten through the whole trip, and am now hoping I can save up some miles sharpish as I don't ever want to fly economy again... :(
